Information
A student wishing to come to the high school as a sophomore must have 4 completed credits. Two of the four credits must be in English I and a full year of math. Remediation is provided at the junior high level to attain the two required credits through provided remediation time during the school day or through Arkansas Virtual High School.

Summer School is offered
in both English and Algebra I for any student who has failed one or both
courses at the junior high school and who wants to correct the deficiency and
attend Mountain Home High School in the fall.
Summer school is a credit recover process and not a grade
replacement. English is offered in
June. A student may only take two (2)
semesters of English in summer school during his/her high school career. Algebra I is offered in July. To sign up for summer school call 425-1215 in
May.
